Facilities

All activities take place in our extensive club rooms.

There are 5 areas open to the public, in addition there is a workshop with a selection of power tools, drills, band saw, and some members have lathes or access to them.

There is also a comprehensive library, with prototype and model magazines dating from the 1940's to the present day and a large number of railway books and videos all of which can be borrowed free of charge by members.

Club nights

Meetings are held on Tuesday and Fridays from 7.30pm till around 10.30pm.

On club nights members work on various projects and socialise; in addition, members staff the Open Days and operate the layouts for visitors at weekends. Tea and coffee is available for a small charge (currently 25 pence per cup).

In addition, our AGM is held in January of each year and QGM meetings are held throughout the year.
