New venue, increased attendance!

We are delighted to announce that over 2,100 people attended our exhibition on Saturday 16 February which made this another record year. This is especially good news for us given this was a new venue.

MKMRS would like to thank Simon Kohler, Hornby Marketing Manager, for opening the exhibition. Thanks also to all exhibitors and traders who worked hard to make the show a success. Special thanks are due to Marston Vale Community Rail Partnership, London Midland trains and to MK Community Transport.

We hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did and look forward to seeing you next year.

Our two awards for ‘Best in Show’ and ‘Best MKMRS Club Layout’ were judged this year by Stephen Sleight from the Marston Vale Community Rail Partnership which works to promote the Marston Vale (Bedford to Bletchley) line. As Stephen noted, choosing from among the many high quality layouts on show was a difficult task, but in the end the following winners were selected:
